Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

SALPG runs its operations with a deeply rooted principle of Safety First. Our ultimate goal is to ensure zero workplace casualties, as we believe all accidents are preventable with necessary caution. A dedicated HSE committee is set up within the company to monitor and maintain its Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibilities. The management leads by example, actively integrating safety performance values into goal setting. These goals include improving air quality, minimizing waste, and promoting healthy ecosystems.

Adhering to the industry’s  best safety standards is our prime business obligation. The HSE undertakes risk studies to identify existing hazards and recommends and implements necessary safety measures. HSE does routine audits and inspections to test the effectiveness of the safety systems in place. Emergency drills are also conducted in the terminal to ensure all the employees and workmen are skilfully trained in case of any crisis. Provided our adequate training, we expect our employees to be fully committed to safeguarding themselves and their co-workers.
